OLD BLACK STOVE M-185
Donna Petersen created and
issued
this classic piece in 1992.
Mother Mouse is standing on tiptoe on a wooden stool so
she can reach to stir the contents of a blue pot on top of
the big old fashioned black wood-burning stove. Mother Mouse
wears a crisp white pinafore apron over her grey dress.

| Mousey Jr. stands at the
other side of the stove holding his plate ready for dinner.
He looks fresh in his white shirt and red short pants.
OLD BLACK STOVE has so much
detail you can see the white salt shaker sitting at the top
of the stove and the WFF insignia on the side of the stove.
The metal vent pipe of the stove seems to go into the wall.
The entire scene is set on a pink tile floor under the stove
and a braided rug sits on the floor in front of the stove.

"MOM & SQUEAKY CLEAN"
M-60 (RETIRED 2004)
One of the earlier
pieces from 1981, William Petersen created a charming mother
and child vignette; it was retired in 2004.
"Mother Mousey",
dressed in a long pink dress and white apron, stands beside
a green claw-foot tub. She has a sponge in hand ready to
bathe her small child sitting in the water-filled tub.
"Little Mousey" has his arms raised to be washed – we can
also see his knees peeking above the water.

The tub
has all the details: faucet & handles, in addition to the
old fashioned claw-feet. The entire scene rests on a pink
tile bathroom floor, surrounded by brown cattails.

William Petersen in 1995, this piece was permanently retired
in 2004.
Young Mousey,
dressed in a yellow shirt and blue pants, sits on a red
wooden stool. He is hard at work on a project in the
coloring book open in his lap. His box of crayons is
scattered on the floor beside him.

shoulder you can see his artwork is for "Mom" and he is
drawing a picture of her face.

Created in 1999
by William Petersen, SUGAR & SPICE
was totally retired in 2005. This most popular series was
delivered in many variations – this is Halloween!
Dressed in her
long purple striped dress and white apron with cobweb edge
design, Mother Mouse has finished a long day of baking. She
approaches us with a tray of her treats.

tray overflows with colorful Halloween cookies in various
shapes: pumpkins, ghosts, corn candy and even a black bat
cookie.

PARTY BOY M-223 and
PARTY GIRL M-224
Annette Petersen
created and issued this set of party kids in 1997.
The PARTY BOY
and PARTY GIRL have arrived at the birthday party and
have been given identical blue party hats. Look closely and
the hats read "Happy Birthday".
The kids are
wearing their best party finery. She wears a ruffled pink
dress trimmed in white – strappey white shoes complete her
ensemble. He wears a white shirt, red vest, and blue pants.
The birthday person will receive the festive wrapped
packages that PARTY GIRL and PARTY BOY
are bringing to the event.
