"Carmen"
M-258
Annette Petersen
outdid herself with this flirtatious rendition of "Carmen".
The figurine was issued in 2000, and it retired in 2004.
The saucy Senorita "Carmen" is attired in
a brilliant full red dress with a glittering red & green
underskirt. Her skirt is lifted just enough for everyone to
see her black boots & pantaloons. She peers provocatively
from behind the intricately laced fan, which she holds close
to her face.
 |
| Her
Spanish dancer costume is complete with the roses and golden
comb, which she wears in her hair. You can almost hear the
click of her heels as she dances around the red rose on the
floor.
 |
|
On the bottom of the figurine is the imprint of the artist &
year of issue. The inked initials "AP" and the gold WFF
sticker also are plainly visible.
Senorita "Carmen"
comes to you in mint condition in the original WFF box, and

"FIRST DATE"
M-134 (Retired)
William Petersen created this charming piece in 1986 and it
was permanently retired in 2004.
The name of the
piece says it all: Mousey and Miss Mouse sit shyly at
opposite ends of the loveseat, separated by the box of candy
he has brought for their "first
date". The detail of the candy box is
incredible; not only do you see the various colors of the
candy, but also the divider sections between the pieces.
 |
|
Miss
Mouse wears a pale blue dress and she holds a small bouquet
of pink flowers, obviously a gift from Mousey. Mousey is
stylish in a crisp white shirt and khaki colored pants
 |
|
The bottom of the piece has all the right marks – the inked
initials of the artist "WP", the white artist & year of
issue sticker, and the gold WFF sticker.

"First
Date" is in mint condition and comes with the
original box and has lived in a smoke free home. This WFF figurine is priced at $
89, plus
$ 7 for shipping and full insurance with the United
States Postal Service. |

FRANNY " M-328 ( Retired 2006)
FLAPPER FRANNY is
a new offering created by Annette Petersen in 2005 & retired
in July, 2006.
Our little lady
"flapper" mouse is dressed to the hilt and ready to go out
for a night of dancing. She’s dressed in green and glitter
and silver. Her "look how cool I am" attitude is obvious and
she seems ready to talk to you.
 |
|
FLAPPER FRANNY’s
dress is a bright green with a glittering beaded neckline
and a large silver soft tied belt. Her matching green
headband has a jeweled clip. She carries a glittering
blue-green purse. Her green flat shoes are decorated with
glittering jewels to match her headband. The hand on her hip
indicates her sassy attitude. She is standing on a wooden
platform surrounded with pearl-like beading.
 |
|
The bottom of the piece has all the marks of authenticity:
the inked initials "AP", a white 2005 WFF sticker and the
gold WFF sticker.

|
In
addition to a large red bow, the wreath is decorated with
red and white berries.

" ZELDA "
M-171 (Retired 2005)
Annette Petersen
created this popular series in 1990 and it was permanently
retired in 2005. Over the years ZELDA has
appeared in many different outfits. This version shows her
in deep purple (almost black) and she looks to be ready for
a night on the town.
ZELDA’s deep purple dress has a
ruffle along the hemline. A pink rose at the side of the
dress matches a rose on her deep purple sparkling headband.
Her shoes also have the same sparkle. ZELDA wears a
long string of white pearls and white drop earrings. She
carries a glittering silver purse to complete her ensemble.
 |
|
ZELDA is truly a center of attention: she stands on a
wooden platform atop a grassy knoll dotted with red flowers.
Someone has apparently paid her a compliment because she has
her hand to her face as if to say "who, me?" or "oh, my".
Lots of personality here!
