and numbered, lower left.  Artist blind stamp,
lower left margin.

 From an edition of 145 examples on
Japon Nacre, numbered in Roman.

Aside from the edition of 245 examples on Arches wove paper numbered in Arabic, and an eprueve d’artiste (artist proof) edition on both papers annotated " EA". Published by La Societe d’Editions Les Heuers Claires, Paris. From the collection of Dr. Giuseppe Albaretto.

Dr. and Mrs. Albaretto were friends, patrons, and collectors of Dali. Dr. Albaretto, as owner of
" Heures Claires" was active in the editing and
publishing of many editions of graphic works by Dali.

 This example, coming from the collection of the Albaretto estate provides an excellent provenance
and historical importance.
