Your Lakefront
Arboretum with privacy
-
On
of G-cove, nature's seasons quietly cycle uninterrupted. Its
an oasis in every season. In early spring, the ice melts; snows of winters give way to a world
greening. Birds begin their nesting and mating patterns; geese fly
in, robins return; Baltimore Oriels , thresh, swallows, etc. fly
to and from. Blue Heron fly in for fishing. Late spring, flowers and trees have blossomed, getting
ready for summer. Summer evens on the lake are continuous, both socially and in nature.
-
Our cove
gives experiences
of turtles basking in the sun, ducks swimming, green bull frogs
singing, and evening deer. You are merely 30 seconds from wide water
boating. One very positive factor about G-cove, you do not
experience people stopping to look through binoculars, fishing
beside your dock, hear folks yelling at night, or that normal lake
traffic. In winter, kids can ice skate, sled or play hockey on
its frozen surface.
-
If you seek a "wide water" view,
G-Cove is not for you. But G-cove lets you experience several
different
aspects of lake living. If you enjoy natural beauty, privacy,
quite intimacy and a one-of-a-kind cove living, then G-cove's
two family space fits you.
-
Please note,
G- Cove is due for another dredging, since the last dredge was
back in
1997. The pictures show small patches of weeds growing along the
shoreline; silt has crept in since the last dredge job. The WLIC
controls the run-off water from Scenic Dr. That governing body
should be taking action concerning silt containment.
Find the "Trees" on the lot:

uncultivated woods, has redbuds, gray dogwoods,
persimmon, and various other native trees.
-
Our old dock on G-Cove is a new, custom built dock, 06/2006. It is
approved by the WLIC.
Enjoy the Spring
blooming, then fall colors, and the abundant species of birds.
There are great sunsets from
your deck;
plus 2007 first snow
scenes.

Enjoy one of our sunrises!
